GSH is already one of the most popular sites on the entire net, and has a very similar purpose to 1WOW. Founded just one town away from our headquarters, GSH has found an intelligent way to let the internet carry the message.

Sister Schools Of San Diego ...  facilitates projects of all kinds between teachers and students in many countries. These projects are hands-on and range from science and technology to social science and language arts. All past and current projects aim to connect students to the international community and promote cultural understanding between the partnering schools.

Earth ButtonThe Choices for the 21st Century Education Project at Brown University develops supplemental curricula for high school classrooms on current and historical public policy issues. Choices units are designed to be reproducible and are accompanied by a Teacher's Resource Book that includes a day-by-day lesson plan.
The Choices approach places special emphasis on the importance of educating students in their participatory role as citizens. The goal is to promote critical thinking and civic judgment through an innovative approach to student-centered instruction.
The Choices Education Project offers a variety of professional development programs to help teachers integrate the curricular materials and approach of the project into their classrooms."
